Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Phantom” – Sail/Black-Phantom – ($160)

The iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG uses smooth and wrinkled white leather on the upper with red accents. Red contrast stitching appears throughout the panels on the upper, on the collar, and as a base for a two-layer Swoosh. Black hits the Wings logo on the collar, on some stitching, and on the tongue logo. Metal eyelets and ziz-zag stitching on the top of the tongue add a few more interesting details on this “Phantom” model of the Air Jordan 1.

Air Jordan 1 High OG Defiant “Couture” – Black/Gym Red-Muslin – ($175)

Throwing aside traditional colorblocking, this Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Defiant has been nicknamed “couture” because of the unique color placement and elevated styling. With a smooth leather upper in black , the shoe is wrapped in a giant red block which begins on the midfoot and wraps around the shoe to the other panel. A leather tongue and tongue tag replace the synthetic versions on other OG versions, while sail anchors the model’s midsole and outsole on this upscale version of the iconic Air Jordan 1.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Turbo Green” – Turbo Green/Sail-White – ($160)

An Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG arrives with tumbled leather and weathered turbo green panels.  Using a familiar colorblocking, a faded light bluish green hits the upper with white Wings branding on the collar and small “SP 19 AIR JORDAN 1” text on the lateral panel.  A sand-colored suede heel collar shifts the colorway a bit, as does the Nike Air branding on the tongue with a purple Swoosh. A white midsole and grey outsole finish off the new color combination on the iconic Air Jordan 1.

WMNS Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC” – Obsidian/Blue Chill-White – ($160)

With All Star weekend heading to Charlotte, the timing is right to honor MJ’s time at UNC with this patent leather Air Jordan 1 OG which brings the Tarheel hue to the heel, collar, and toe box. Jordan’s Wings logo hits the collar, while Nike Air branding hits the navy tongue, while a white midsole and Carolina blue outsole balance out this colorway.

Air Jordan 1 “Neutral Grey” – Neutral Grey/Black-Infrared – ($160)

The Air Jordan 1 “Neutral Grey” blends grey weathered suede with premium leather paneling. Fluorescents brighten the ankle collar and heel that add light to the medium grey and black upper. Other details include white Wings logo on the ankle and tongue tag. Finally, “SP 19 Air Jordan 1 High OG” is highlighted on the side panels, while a white midsole and grey rubber outsole tops it off.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “A Star Is Born” – Black/Varsity Red-Sail – $160

Following the “Rookie of the Year” edition of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG another early career inspiration hits this “Sports Illustrated” edition of the Jordan 1. The first time Jordan appeared on the cover of the magazine was in the December 10th, 1984 edition, with the headline “A Star is Born,” which is printed in bold letters inside the collar flaps. This model takes the black, white, and red tumbled leather upper from Jordan’s Bulls uniform, but also mixes in the side panels from the Milwaukee Bucks’ jerseys with tonal green, black, and white stripes on this model’s woven Swoosh. Light blue also appears on the footbed, the color of the Sports Illustrated lettering on that issue.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Origin Story” – Gym Red/Black-White-Photo Blue – ($160)

Matching the pair seen in the film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse on Miles Morales, the “Origin Story” Jordan 1 High OG features a 3M reflective textile red upper, with glossed-out black accents by the ankle collar, Swoosh branding on the sides and a translucent icy blue outsole.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Rookie of the Year” – Golden Harvest/Black-Sail – ($160)

A brown button-up shirt that Michael Jordan wore when he accepted his Rookie of the Year award in 1985 gives this Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG its inspiration. With tumbled white leather as the base and brown suede overlays, black hits the collar, Wings logo, and Swoosh. Jordan’s stats and portions of his acceptance speech appear on the inside of the panels on the collar eyelets to honor MJ’s achievement.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Court Purple” ($160)

The iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG gets a familiar colorblocking using black, white, and purple. Tumbled purple leather hits the collar, heel, and toebox with black on the throat, Swoosh, and upper collar. Sail white hits the quarter and medial panels, adding contrast in a formula that has worked well on several iterations of this classic sneaker.

Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Guava Ice” – Guava Ice / Sail ($160)

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG’s iconic silhouette gets a sail colorway with heavy doses of branding in mint green. Leather and synthetic materials hit the upper in sail and cream white while splashy “NIKE” and “AIR” branding in mint green on one shoe, along with tonal text with Nike branding on the other for an Air Jordan 1 that has more than meets the eye at first glance.
