Nike Air Max2 Light QS x atmos – ($160)

In collaboration with Japanese-based brand atmos, this special-edition Air Max2 Light takes inspiration from Nike apparel in the ’90s and the upper is a twist on the bright, bold gear. A swoosh and “NIKE AIR” branding is printed or embroidered on every piece of patchwork, and each shoe features asymmetrical patterns. The collaboration also includes: track jacket ($150) and pants ($90), l/s t-shirt ($65), s/s t-shirt ($55), and AW84 5 Panel hat ($50).

atmos x Puma Clyde – “T.T.T” ($120)

Puma’s Clyde gets an intricate design crafted by Ichibay Chang of Japan’s Three Tides Tattoo parlor in collaboration with atmos, as evidenced by the characters on the tongue which translate to “Ichibay and Three Tides Tattoo,” and the heel, which reads “drawn by Ichibay.” Inside the shoe, the footbed also gets the same detailed illustration.

Since setting up shop in Teaneck, over the years we have been lucky to establish a comradery with both Stash and Atmos that has spawned a number of different special projects.

Last March we had the pleasure of releasing our second collaborative effort with Stash on the Reebok Instapump Fury. Upon it’s sellout, we were approached by our good friends at Atmos about the possibility of a Japan release of the shoe to appease the ever growing international following shared between Stash and our store.

Fast forward ten months and 6,000 miles, today in celebration of our joint in-store appearance at their Sports Lab store, we proudly introduce the Packer Shoes x Stash x Atmos Capsule Collection.

Spearheaded by the reissue of the Packer Shoes x Stash Reebok Instapump Fury ($160 USD), this limited edition capsule features 4 new additional apparel offerings in the form of two co-branded graffiti and Japanese Katakana tees ($30 USD) and graffiti hoody ($70 USD).

Coinciding with the 8pm special in-store appearance with Stash at the Sports Lab Atmos store in Shinjuku Japan, look for the complete Packer Shoes x Stash x Atmos Capsule Collection to launch exclusively online at PackerShoes.com at 6am EST.

A limited run of the Packer Shoes x Stash Reebok Instapump Fury will also be available for purchase at 12pm noon in-store.

Packer x Staple x Jack Stocker “10th Anniversary” Tee

As we conclude our 2014 Packer Shoes 12 days of Christmas, we would like to extend our gratitude to each individual brand who participated in making our (officially) annual rollout lively and festive for our customers. While we close the book on the year long celebration of our 10th anniversary of opening up shop in Teaneck, NJ, our last collaborative offering of the year brings us full circle to the beginning.

Upon our grand opening at our current store location ten years ago, word of mouth quickly spread about the assortment of footwear product we had stocked. While our display shelves consisted of various hard to obtain retro and vintage footwear pieces that were carried over from our original Yonkers, NY store – there was one particular shoe that caused the most commotion amongst our initial customers – the atmos Japan x Nike Air Max 1 B “Viotech”.

To put this into proper perspective, the initial release of this shoe pre-dated routine weekend/twitter link only launch dates. This was at a time when PayPal was still in it’s infancy, you could not buy Air Force 1’s online at all, and social media for sneaker heads solely consisted of Niketalk and Instyleshoes web forums. Back then one did not have the luxury of being able to go online to purchase regional product from international boutiques at the rate customers do today. You had to put in your work. The Viotech AM1 was exclusive to Japan only. So when we opened our doors on our very first day of business ten years ago, many made the trek from far and wide for the chance to purchase the elusive shoe domestically. Being able to carry footwear product normally unavailable or that was never ranged for our locale to our everyday consumer sort of shaped us into becoming a destination location that we still are and has allowed us to maintain the international following we have today.

Serving as an ode to the foundation of our business while also being the first recorded sale in Teaneck, in collaboration with our good friends at Staple Design and world renowned graphic artist Jack Stocker, we proudly introduce the our “10th Anniversary” Viotech Tee.
